Japanese aged 19 dies after suffering an accident in Moto2 in Italy. Tomizawa was hit by two pilots and suffered multiple fractures. The Japanese Shoya Tomizawa, 19, died Sunday (05/09/2010), just hours after suffering a serious accident during the race Moto2 in San Marino, Italy. He fell from his bike, was hit by two riders and had a cardiac arrest still on track. Was resuscitated and taken to a hospital. He had multiple fractures, internal bleeding. Could not resist.
The last death in the World Motorbike had been in 2003 – also the Japanese Daijro Kato, at Suzuka. Last week, another youngster died during a motorcycle race. Peter Lenz competed in the 250cc championship from a U.S. base in Indianapolis.
It was not the first time Misano saw a serious accident. In 1993, on September 5, Wayne Rainey, the 500cc triple champion (1990, 1991 and 1992) and one of the greatest drivers in the history of motorcycling, fell at the first corner, almost 200 km / h, while leading the Italian GP . The bike hit the back of the U.S., ending his career and left paraplegic.
